I was inspired to paint this after watching their incredible migration to and from their nest sites here in the UK to overwinter in West Africa, filmed by the amazing conservationist Sacha Dench who followed their progress and discovered just how many dangers they encounter on their way. This painting shows the Ospreys in flight with the world below. It is a miracle that more are returning to nest here and can now even be seen feeding on the River Exe & River Axe.
